Become a “Friend of the RGV Birding Festival”

Sure, the Festival is a fun event that highlights the Valley’s unique avian fauna—but it’s much, much more than that.  It’s a non-profit hard-working entity that has far-reaching ripple effects.  Economically, it’s the catalyst for a substantial local infusion of tourist dollars.  And beyond that, it fosters awareness on critical conservation and natural resource issues for Valley residents, visitors, and our youth. In the past, the Festival was crucial in the saving of 40 acres of native thicket within the city limits of Harlingen. And currently, the Festival is working to increase habitat and nesting sites for our area’s wild populations of parakeets and parrots. Your tax-deductible donation of any size will greatly help!
